Since 1978, the mission of the Mercy Hospital Foundation has been to raise new funds and steward existing resources to support, improve and promote the care and service provided by Mercy Hospital of Buffalo.
For over twenty years, the Foundation has provided funding to ensure Mercy Hospital's long-term stability and growth.
In 2014, the Mercy Hospital Foundation invested over $425,000 to support patient-centered projects, programs, education and equipment. With God’s grace, guidance, and glory hearts are changed and lives transformed at Mercy.
Give a gift to the Mercy Hospital Foundation, today! The Mercy Hospital Foundation invites you to call the Foundation Office at (716) 828-2038 to learn more about how you can support health care in Buffalo and the Southtowns.
Thank you for your partnership, friendship and mission support.
The Mercy Hospital Foundation is proud to support the Hearts Changed & Lives Transformed campaign to enhance patient access to Mercy’s comprehensive, state-of-the-art healthcare resources, and ensure that the physicians who provide cardio and vascular care will continue to have the best facilities and technologies to work with.
According to the Erie County Heath Assessment, cardiovascular disease has long been the number one cause of death in Erie County, accounting for 32% of all deaths. Catholic Health’s cardiologists treat more than 7,000 patients for cardiac illness annually at our hospitals, with 45% of cardiac patients in Western New York cared for at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo.
Once completed, this $15 million, 20,000 square foot enhancement will successfully accommodate the growing number of patients requiring this life saving care. To learn more, please contact Kathy Swenson at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (716) 828-2120.
