Founded in 1848, Sisters Hospital is the oldest hospital in continuous operation in upstate New York. Located in Buffalo, about four miles from the city's thriving downtown area and about three miles from the University at Buffalo medical school, Sisters Hospital has over 430 beds, a modern emergency and outpatient department, and skilled nursing facility.
