About

The team of medical professionals at St. Vincent Health Center seeks to be a community health resource for your non-emergent medical needs. Our providers take the time to form one-on-one relationships with each of our patients to ensure that you and your loved ones receive the highest quality primary care and addiction management services.

Services

Addiction Management – You don't have to overcome your addiction alone. Having the right type of support system around you is critical on your path to recovery. Our addiction management programs are tailored to the individual, with recommended treatment for your circumstances and the severity of your condition. We respect the person living with addiction by treating patients with compassion and observing their privacy.

Primary Care – Our primary care physicians are here to provide a constant support system for our patients to lean on. Few things are more important than your health, which we treat by conducting annual physicals, providing preventative care, and assessing symptoms for specialist referrals.

Prescription Refills

Prescriptions will be refilled only during office hours because we need your chart handy to check on dosages and disease status. Plan ahead so that you do not run out of important medicines.

Always have the phone number of your pharmacy available when you call the office.

To expedite your request, you can also ask your pharmacy to send us an e-request for a prescription refill.

Emergencies

Call 911 (Emergency Medical Services) for any life threatening emergency that requires immediate medical care (inability to breathe, severely choking, unconsciousness, seizure, etc.). For poisonings, call the Poison Control Center (716) 878-7654 or 1-800-222-1222.

After-Hours Calls

If you become ill or are injured after office hours or during a weekend or a holiday, your call to the office will go through our answering service. Please limit calls to emergencies or other urgent problems that cannot wait until morning.

Primary Care

Our part: Showing genuine compassion and care for each and every one of our patients, so you always have a place to turn with your non-emergent healthcare needs.

Catholic Health’s board-certified physicians place the utmost importance on getting to know you – your family history, risk factors, overall wellness, and any other related conditions. Together, we will make decisions about what’s best for you and your health.

The relationship between a patient and their primary care doctor is one of the most significant links in healthcare. We’re able to translate your symptoms so they can be understood by other caregivers, and coordinate a care plan based on our familiarity with your health history. We work to remain your touchpoint between how you’re feeling – in your own words – and recommending resources in the larger medical community.

Primary Care Services

Here are some primary care services provided by Catholic Health physicians:

  • Treatment of common illnesses
  • General physicals and preventative care
  • Recommended immunizations
  • Blood testing and specialist referrals
  • Diagnosis and management of chronic conditions

Your part: All we ask is that you play an active role in your healthcare. Learn about yourself and what you can do to stay as healthy as possible. Understand how certain habits and lifestyle choices can impact your health.

And above all, know that an annual physical is vital to maintaining optimum health and wellness, as well as tracking changes in your growth and development. We’re committed to helping you live your healthiest life possible – schedule an appointment today.

Parking

Free parking is available for patients and visitors in the lot next to our building, which can be accessed from either Wick or Liddell Street.
