The staff members below have been awarded the LOVE Award, a quarterly designation that recognizes St. Catherine Labouré  associates who demonstrate a personal commitment to our values in their daily work.

Anyone can nominate an associate for the LOVE award – patients, visitors, family members, physicians, volunteers and co-workers.

Meet our most recent award-winners below:

Tamicole Williams

2011 – First Quarter Winner

Tamicole (Tami) Williams joined St.Catherine Laboure in 2007. She currently works as the staffing coordinator and is also a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Tami was nominated for the LOVE Award by a co-worker, who says that Tami goes above and beyond for her co-workers and the residents. The nomination stated that Tami does her best to accommodate her co-workers' needs when scheduling shifts. She is more than willing to do whatever is needed for the residents. She has a way of communicating with them that calms them when upset. She frequently will go to the units to help with the care of our residents or to help a co-worker with his or her work.

Tresa Pitts

2010 – Fourth Quarter Winner

Tresa Pitts was the fourth quarter LOVE award winner at St. Catherine Laboure. Tresa is a Certified Nursing Assistant and was nominated by her Nurse Manager.

"It was my pleasure and honor to nominate Tresa Pitts for the LOVE award. Tresa is an excellent CNA who always has a smile on her face and a kind word to say. Tresa is loved by staff as well as her residents. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and is always there when needed. Her residents and their families always have good things to say. Tresa exemplifies what a LOVE award recipient should be and displays on a daily basis. Love, respect, compassion, and excellence describe Tresa to a tee, and it has been truly my privledge and honor to nominate Tresa and to work side by side with her.

Iesha Honeycutt

2010 – Third Quarter Winner

Iesha Honeycutt was the third quarter LOVE award at St. Catherine Laboure. Iesha has taken on the role of both Certified Nursing Assistant and Laundry Aide. She was nominated by a co-worker who felt the recognition was well deserved for many reasons.

"Whether Iesha is working in laundry or on the unit as a CNA she has a good attitude, is kind, friendly, and helpful to our residents, as well as staff. Iesha goes beyond what is asked of her. She does not need constant directives. Iesha takes care of needs that are not requested. It is a pleasure to work with Iesha."

Doronda Miller

2010 – Second Quarter Winner

Doronda Miller is a Certified Nursing Assistant and was nominated by a co-worker.

"Doronda is a very hard worker. I always see her in and out of rooms and never a complaint."

She was nominated because she takes pride in her work, is caring and compassionate with the residents, and maintains a positive attitude. "She is always pleasant and keeps a smile on her face," says her co-worker.

Debra Berdych

2010 – First Quarter Winner

Debbie Berdych, a Licensed Practical Nurse, was nominated by her Nurse Manager.

"Deb has displayed excellence, compassion and dedication in her position as team leader. She has consistantly displayed a high level of competence and goes above and beyond for the residents. She is an advocate for the residents and always has a smile and makes time for her residents and their families. It has truly been a pleasure to work with Deb."
