Hundreds of meals are prepared daily at St. Joseph Campus and each patient tray receives special care and attention. Nourishing and well-balanced meals are an important part of your treatment and recovery. A Registered Dietician works closely with your physician to provide you with individualized nutritional care. You will secure a menu based on your physician’s order.
Each day you will be visited by an ambassador from Nutritional Services who will take your menu order for the next day. Should a special diet be prescribed as part of your post-hospital treatment, a registered dietician or diet technician will provide instructions so you can properly manage your nutritional needs at home.
Our Food and Nutrition Department will make meals available to relatives and friends of hospitalized patients for a nominal fee.
The cafeteria is located on the first floor and offers a variety of hot foods, sandwiches, salad bar items, desserts, ice cream, snacks and beverages.
