My daughter suffered a seizure at the Buffalo Airport prior to boarding her 8 a.m. flight to Chicago.
The prompt attention given to her by the paramedics and the staff in the Emergency Department were second to none. Within a couple of hours, Sheri was screened and scanned and released. All the while, she was taken care of with compassion, concern and tenderness. She said it was the best hospital experience she ever had, and she has had several.
I would like to recognize and thank Dr. Coolidge, Nurses Mary Ann and Cindy, Paramedic Keith, the young attendant (a graduate of Niagara University) and the sister who prayed with us.
Thank you for taking the time to care in this difficult situation.
I wanted to express my thanks and appreciation for the wonderful treatment and care I received from this facility.
I would like to thank Dr. Sayeed Nabi, a wonderful person, and his expert surgical team for their dedicated service and total commitment into caring for me.
Also, the team of Hall 4 is awesome! Thank you for your tremendous and extraordinary service; it really exceeded my expectations. It is hard to name one RN or Nurse. The entire team deserves a big WOW!
Thank you all and may God bless you all and your families.

My mother underwent surgery at St. Joseph's with Dr. De Perio. I stayed with her for those five days.
Everyone – the nurses, nurse assistants, food deliverers – were incredibly friendly.
My mother has been telling people that it was like staying at a 5-star hotel with expert service and meals that you can order yourself.
To my mother, being treated with kindness and gentleness and having such friendly people taking care of her made a big difference in her experience.
I am also very grateful that I was able to sleep in the same room on a recliner.
My heartfelt thanks and appreciation go out to each and everyone that cared for my mother.
My mother was admitted to St. Joseph Campus in the emergency room and then transferred to the 2nd floor. I honestly do not remember much that morning, but later in the day, we met some exceptional people. No matter how excellent or exceptional the staff performs as a team, there are always those who excel and exceed above and beyond the staff as a whole.
I do not remember everyone's names, however the RN staff was exceptional. They were kind, compassionate and professional, especially Donna, Lisa, Elizabeth, Becky and Tracy.
Tracy told me she was new to the team at St. Joe’s and that Becky was training her. Being new and having to train did not take away the exceptional service they both provided. Thank you assigning them as a team to my mom.
Evening in hospital is always very difficult, being awakened for tests and asking for assistance to use the bathroom. We were so lucky to have been assigned Anthony. He brought a big smile every time he entered the room. He was gentle and compassionate. A special thank you to Tineka Pace and to Debbie Handley for letting me stay with my mom.

I have been a Catholic Health employee for 20 years.
My son has had a few surgeries at St. Joseph Campus. He was taken care by Dr. Alexander Mandych and several nurses.
I cannot express how professional and polite Dr. Mandych and his staff were to me and my son. Dr. Mandych stopped by to say "hi" since we were an add-on and had to wait several hours to be taken in. He joked with me and my son and put us at ease.
I just wanted to thank everyone for their exceptional care. I would not take my family anywhere else but St. Joseph Campus!
The care that I recieved at Sisters of Charity Hospital, St. Joseph Campus was excellent.
I had an outpatient endoscopic sinus surgery with Dr. Fred Gass, and had I known that it would have been as easy as it was, I would have done it a long time ago. The staff takes their job seriously, and they provide you with what you need. I am thankful for a positive experience; they have taken the fear out of me.
Thank you for making my daughter's surgery a smooth process.
Your employees are what makes your hospital special.
Everyone was so nice, friendly and efficient.
When my daughter was in the ER, they were so kind, and Dr. Coolidge was wonderful.
They answered all of her questions and performed testing. She was at another hospital with the same problem, and they did not do blood work, even after telling her they would. I have never heard of a hospital not doing blood work for abdominal pain.
Thank you so very much.
I just wanted to thank the entire emergency room staff, the fourth floor staff, the surgical team, and Dr. DePerio.
I am a pilot and was in town on a layover when I experienced bad stomach pains. It turned out to be appendicitis, and I needed surgery right away. Being in a hospital emergency room in a town away from home, friends, and family isn't a fun experience. The entire staff made me feel at ease and was willing to go out of their way to make sure things were taken care of for me. I was fortunate that your staff showed so much compassion, caring, and helpfulness. Thanks again for making a bad experience much more bearable!
After experiencing a foot wound that wouldn't heal, Paul, a civilian worker stationed in Nicosia, Cyprus, is on his way to recovery in Western New York.
“The results we’ve seen with Paul have been really gratifying,” said Dr. Ruotsi. “The process isn’t over yet, and he’s not completely healed, but he’s well on his way.”
