Per the state health code, children under 14 are allowed to visit their new sibling while in the hospital. All other visitors must be over 14 years of age.
All local florists deliver to Mercy Hospital. If you are ordering flowers for a patient, it is not necessary to include the room number, as the florist will stop at the front desk to confirm the recipient's name and room number before the delivery is made.

Value passes can be purchased at the Cashiers Office or at the parking booth from the attendant.
The Mercy Tree Gift Shop, staffed by volunteers, is located off the 2nd floor main lobby. The shop carries fresh flower arrangements, cards, magazines, toiletries, candy, balloons and a variety of gifts.
Gift Shop Hours:
Monday - Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Please note that our gift shop hours may vary based on volunteer availability. Please call (716) 828-2354 prior to your visit to confirm that the gift shop is open.

Your eCard will be hand delivered to a patient in one of our four hospitals after 1 p.m., Monday through Friday. Cards received after 1 p.m. will be delivered the next business day.
Free wireless internet access is available throughout the hospital. To begin using this service, open your wireless connection utility, scan available networks and connect to "Catholic Health Visitor."
Our Food and Nutrition Department will make meals available to relatives and friends of hospitalized patients for a nominal fee.
The cafeteria, which is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., is located on the third level of the McAuley Building.
SUBWAY® Restaurant is located off the cafeteria on the third level of the hospital’s McAuley Building.
Hours are Monday through Friday: 6:30 a.m. to 12 midnight; Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 12 midnight.
Tim Hortons is located in the hospital lobby and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Vending machines are located in the cafeteria on the third level of the McAuley Building. Vending machine service is available 7 days a week, 24-hours-a-day.
The Patient Representative program is designed to help you with any questions or concerns that may arise during your stay with us at Mercy Hospital. If you or your family members have any questions about your hospitalization, hospital policy, or have a special request, please ask to see the patient representative or call (716) 828-2044.

Please note that as of July 4, 2009, smoking is not permitted anywhere on hospital property and off-site locations. This new smoke-free policy includes all buildings, parking areas, cars parked on hospital property, grounds and adjacent sidewalks.
