About

Mercy Hospital's Mercy Ambulatory Care Center is a licensed 2-bed hospital, officially named Mercy Hospital, Orchard Park Division. Our facility offers patients in the Southtowns 24/7 emergency care services.

The MACC differs from an urgent care center because it is classified as a hospital, and therefore, can receive ambulances and patients with severe and/or life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Our team consists of highly-skilled medical providers who are able to stabilize a patient's condition should you find yourself in need of emergency care. The MACC has access to around-the-clock cardiac and stroke services at nearby Mercy Hospital of Buffalo.

In addition to emergency medicine, our location also provides a range of specialty care and diagnostic testing services.

Services

Emergency Medicine – A medical emergency is a situation when immediate medical attention is needed. Catholic Health emergency departments are strategically placed in the region for the convenience of Western New York's residents. Emergency medicine is provided by our highly-skilled team of board certified physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and attendants, with services available 24 hours a day, every day.

Wound Care – A chronic wound or ulcer that does not heal within four weeks may require advanced care. The specialists at Catholic Health's advanced wound healing centers are all board certified in wound care and hyperbaric medicine. Our practice focuses on using patient evaluations to determine the treatment that will be most effective for you and your condition.

Diagnostic Imaging – The state-of-the-art technology used at Catholic Health imaging centers informs our physicians' decisions about the right way to care for your illness, injury, or condition. These provided services also allow our locations to set the standard in our region for disease detection and prevention.

EKG (Electrocardiogram) – An electrocardiogram, also called an EKG or ECG, is a simple test that detects and records the electrical activity of the heart. It is used to detect and locate the source of heart problems.

Blood Draw – Catholic Health laboratory services test and process blood locally, allowing for fast, same-day results. Our locations offer an extensive catalog of blood tests, helpful in diagnosing disease, measuring risk factors, and evaluating a patient's overall health. On the day of your visit, be prepared with a prescription, identification, and insurance information. Make sure to follow any specific instruction from your doctor as well.
