Four times each year, Catholic Health awards the LOVE Award to staff members who demonstrate a personal commitment to our values in their daily work.

Anyone can nominate an associate for the LOVE award – patients, visitors, family members, physicians, volunteers and co-workers.

Meet our most recent award-winners at St. Elizabeth's of Lancaster:

Nancy Len

2011 – Third Quarter Winner

Nancy, a dietary aide, was nominated for the LOVE Award by her co-worker Lori Weismore.

Lori said:

"Nancy is a wonderful co-worker. She always comes in and helps. She is always picking up extra days. Nancy is willing to help any staff or resident at any time. She takes pride and strives for excellence. I have really enjoyed working with Nancy, and she is an asset to our home and an asset to our residents most of all."

Darlene Mazgaj

2011 – Second Quarter Winner

Darlene, a housekeeper at St. Elizabeth's of Lancaster, was nominated by her manager Tim McMahon. He stated:

"Darlene is a hard worker, always pleasant and willing to help residents whenever she can. I have seen Darlene personally helping residents with their hair and getting dressed. She is well respected by fellow associates. She makes St. Elizabeth's what it is and is always willing to do what it takes to get the job accomplished."
