Four times each year, Catholic Health awards the LOVE Award to staff members who demonstrate a personal commitment to our values in their daily work.
Anyone can nominate an associate for the LOVE award – patients, visitors, family members, physicians, volunteers and co-workers.

2012 – Fourth Quarter Winner
Dan Madden, housekeeper at St. Elizabeth’s, was nominated for the LOVE Award by his manager, Tim McMahon.
Tim said, "Dan has been a hard worker from his first day of working at St. Elizabeth’s. He is always willing to help out in any department. He goes beyond what is required of him."
2012 – Second Quarter Winner
Janice Guenther, laundry aide at St. Elizabeth’s, was nominated for the LOVE Award by her manager, Tim McMahon.
Tim said, "Janice is well liked and respected by both staff and residents. She has taken upon herself to help residents reorganize their closets and help out in any way possible."
2012 – First Quarter Winner
Lori Weismore, dietary cook at St. Elizabeth’s, was nominated for the LOVE Award by her co-workers, Rhonda Hopkins and Nancy Len, along with Activities Director, Barbara Fisher.
"Lori has compassion for all the residents. She will come in on her days off and help. She will sit and listen and offer guidance to fellow employees when needed."
"Lori has a multitude of responsibilities, which she performs with great care for the residents and co-workers. She is able to work any position within the department. She is capable, caring, hardworking, patient and very deserving of this award."
2011 – Third Quarter Winner
Nancy, a dietary aide, was nominated for the LOVE Award by her co-worker Lori Weismore.
"Nancy is a wonderful co-worker. She always comes in and helps. She is always picking up extra days. Nancy is willing to help any staff or resident at any time. She takes pride and strives for excellence. I have really enjoyed working with Nancy, and she is an asset to our home and an asset to our residents most of all."
2011 – Second Quarter Winner
Darlene, a housekeeper at St. Elizabeth's of Lancaster, was nominated by her manager, Tim McMahon. He stated:
"Darlene is a hard worker, always pleasant and willing to help residents whenever she can. I have seen Darlene personally helping residents with their hair and getting dressed. She is well respected by fellow associates. She makes St. Elizabeth's what it is and is always willing to do what it takes to get the job accomplished."
