Nursing Education

Catholic Health's nursing education programs provide hands-on experience for nursing students and allow our current nursing staff to progress in their skills.

Programs for Nursing Students

  • Immediate Treatment Assistant (ITA) program – provides students with a full year of experience in a clinical setting before graduation.
  • Summer Nursing Internship Program – allows students between their junior and senior year to practice and develop their nursing skills. Each student is precepted by an experienced nursing staff member and follows the schedule of that preceptor. Nursing students should contact their dean of nursing if they are interested in a summer internship.

RN to BSN Program for Catholic Health Associates

The Catholic Health and Niagara University RN to BS in Nursing Program is a series of credit courses to be held at Catholic Health over a thirty month period of time, which will permit students enrolled in all such courses to earn a BS in Nursing Degree.
