Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED

The physical therapist is responsible for providing service to the homebound patient who has a physical impairment or delay and requires the skills of a therapist. The physical therapist designs and implements programs for the patient and family in accordance with agency standards and procedures. The physical therapist will also provide teaching to the family and caregivers as appropriate.

Coder/Analyst Inpatient - Health Information, Mercy Hospital

Codes primarily acute hospital inpatient, SNF, Rehab, for the purpose of accurate reimbursement, research and compliance with federal regulations. Coding of Ambulatory, ER / Urgent Care, Interventional Radiology and same day surgery records is performed on an as needed basis. Diagnoses and procedures are coded through review of the entire medical record, utilizing International Classification of Diseases, 9th Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-9-CM) and Current Procedure Terminology (CPT) classifications. Queries physician for further clarification when there is uncertainty in the documentation of the medical record. Analyzes and reviews records for completeness. Actively participates as a member of the Clinical Documentation Improvement Team (CDI Team) as outlined in this document.

Medical Technologist - Mt. St. Mary's Hospital - Full-Time Nights

Performs all tests in all sub departments of the laboratory to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Performs testing via glucose meter, to include quality control. Once employee has six years of experience may be required to perform the duties of the Charge Technologist per policy.
