Primary responsibility is to perform tests on body fluids to provide information for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Proper handling of specimens, which will be analyzed at a later time, is imperative. The ability to organize work to insure that priority testing is efficiently performed is required. Clinical Laboratory Technologists may also perform duties of Charge Technologists when called upon provided they have six (6) years experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
Promotes and maintains positive service culture. Performs a wide variety of duties and functions to prepare, measure, season, cook, assemble and serve foods for patients/residents, staff, and visitors. Follows standardized recipes for food consistency, and menu guidelines. Adheres to temperatures and safe food handling practices. Performs cleaning and sanitizing duties to work areas, equipment, and wares. Transports equipment, meals and supplies to various destinations according to requests.
Primary responsibilities include providing adequate supervision for the Histology/Cytology functions and technical guidance and direction for the Histology/Cytology Laboratory. Prepares slides of body samplings to provide information for the diagnosis and treatment of patients; and assist pathologist as required during grossing and/or autopsies.

The next class starts in June and will be held for 3 1/2 weeks. Attendance at all classes is mandatory.

Assists the physician and the team during Invasive Interventional procedures in the Invasive/Interventional Labs. The primary responsibilities of the Invasive Interventional Radiology Technologist are all aspects of x-ray technology including positioning, setting the technique, generating x-ray, and oversight of digital and film equipment systems. Share on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis, including weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include assisting the physician by scrubbing in on procedures, filming procedures, sending images to PACS and/or syngoDynamics, recording cases on the hemodynamic monitoring system, and reconstructing images on the 3D workstation. Performs advanced imaging algorithms on the 3D workstation, creates DVDs and prints films as needed. Is the source for providing knowledge and expert guidance related to Radiation safety with the departments.
