Home » Associates » Mission » Community Outreach » Helping Hands Helping HandsWhat is the Helping Hands Fund?Our Helping Hands Fund provides financial assistance to associates who are experiencing a significant financial hardship due to unforeseen economic conditions, a family tragedy or unexpected emergency. Associates can request up to $500 from the Helping Hands Fund after six months of employment. Financial assistance is approved based on need and available funds. All requests will be confidentially reviewed by the Mission leaders, Assessment Coordinator, and/or Helping Hands Committees of each ministry. All names and identifying information will be removed prior to committee review to ensure complete confidentiality. The assessment, approval or denial, and disbursement of funds will be completed as quickly as possible. There is no limit to how many times an associate can request assistance, however additional assistance will depend on the circumstances and funds available. The need for assistance is based on significant financial hardship stemming from such things as a natural disaster, or personal tragedy such as an illness or accident.
