This award encompasses the entire Catholic Health system and indicates that we are one of the 100 most integrated networks out of more than 580 health systems that are graded on operations, quality, scope of services, and efficiency. The designation is awareded by SDI, a nationally recognized healthcare data and consulting firm based in Yardley, Pennsylvania.

Joint Commission Accreditation (2009)

Joint Commission accreditation is a voluntary process consisting of rigorous, unannounced site surveys by a team of physicians, nurses and other health executives. Commission accredited or certified organizations have demonstrated that they meet the highest standards in their field. All Catholic Health hospitals have earned accreditation by The Joint Commission.

SleepCare, the sleep center at Sisters of Charity Hospital, St. Joseph Campus in Cheektowaga, has received re-accreditation from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) for its commitment to provide high quality patient care and testing services for the diagnosis and treatment of sleep related disorders.
