Recognition by third party organizations is an important factor in our efforts to measure ourselves against national benchmarks. They show us that we are on the right track as we compare ourselves to best practices and the best health systems across the nation.

Our Achievements

SDI Top 100 Integrated Health Systems - Catholic Health (2008 - 2011)

This award encompasses the entire Catholic Health system and indicates that we are one of the 100 most integrated networks out of more than 580 health systems that are graded on operations, quality, scope of services, and efficiency. The designation is awarded by SDI, a nationally recognized healthcare data and consulting firm based in Yardley, Pennsylvania. 

Cleverley + Associates Community Value Index

In 2010, for the second consecutive year, all three Catholic Health hospitals – Sisters of Charity, Kenmore Mercy and Mercy Hospital of Buffalo – were named “Five-Star Hospitals” in Cleverley + Associates’ 2010 Community Value Index® (CVI).
