Mercy Hospital Parade Float

Mercy Hospital will once again be proudly represented in downtown Buffalo’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 16, 2014 with this year’s float theme, “All Aboard our Journey from Good to Great!”

In addition to all Mercy Hospital staff, volunteers, Sisters of Mercy, and physicians, we are inviting friends of Mercy Hospital from the community to march with us in the parade.  This invitation is open to the public and is a great opportunity to experience the thrill of marching in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade while showing your support of Mercy Hospital.

The award-winning Mercy parade float has won the Bishop Grosz “Best Catholic Float” trophy four times since 2008. This year’s float will feature live music by the “Heard of Buffalo” band.

For those marching in the parade, a mass will be held in the hospital chapel at 11 a.m., followed by a complimentary brunch in the hospital’s main conference room (A/B) on the 3rd floor. Free ramp parking and free round trip bus transportation to the parade will be provided.  Buses will leave for the downtown parade at 12:45 p.m. sharp from the hospital’s Choate Street entrance.

RSVP by March 13th

RSVP and registration is required by calling 828-2008 or email kgray@chsbuffalo.org no later than March 13.

Space will be limited, so register early.
