July 9, 2013

A growing number of women across the country are choosing nurse midwives for their childbirth process and overall health needs.

Recognizing this trend, Mercy Hospital of Buffalo currently provides 24-hour midwifery coverage at its maternity unit, the Family BirthPlace, and recently expanded services by welcoming Sarah Worrell, CNM, and Elaine Clutterbuck, CNM, to the Mercy midwives’ team.

Previously in private practice with Nurse Midwifery Associates of WNY, Sara and Elaine earned their certification in Nurse Midwifery from the Frontier School of Midwifery & Family Nursing in Hyden, Kentucky.

They are currently accepting new patients at the Mercy Comprehensive Care Center (MCCC). To schedule an appointment, call (716) 847-6610.
