“Bless these rooms and this new equipment. May this place be filled with compassion and healing,” said the large group of physicians and staff who had gathered for the recent blessing ceremony of new Cardiac Cath Labs, 8 and 9, at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo.

The new labs, featuring state-of-the-art equipment, replaced two older Cath Labs in the Heart Center.

“Keeping up with changing technology is important and these upgraded labs are a welcome addition,”said Dr. Salvatore Calandra, Mercy’s director of Interventional Cardiology.
