Visitors, patients and associates at Kenmore Mercy Hospital now have a familiar option for a comforting cup of coffee. Tim Hortons opened its newest Kenmore location at the hospital on Tuesday, December 10 at Catherine’s Tea Room in the lobby.
“The opening of our Tim Hortons represents Kenmore Mercy’s commitment to providing a first-rate patient and visitor experience,” said Walt Ludwig, chief operating officer of Kenmore Mercy Hospital.
Located in the hospital’s original tea room, which was named for the Sisters of Mercy Foundress Catherine McAuley, the new space will remain a place for associates, visitors and patients to enjoy the “comfortable cup of tea.”
The association of coffee and tea with warm and caring relationships has long been a representation of the Mercy ministry.
The completely renovated cafe will offer all of Tim Hortons signature coffee and baked goods, along with sandwiches and soups. The hours will be daily from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the weekends.
