Kenmore Mercy Foundation Donation to ED

The Kenmore Mercy Foundation Board of Trustees embarked on a capital campaign in January 2011 to raise funds for a new Emergency Department at Kenmore Mercy Hospital.  On July 26, Nancy Dobson, Chair of the Foundation Board of Trustees proudly presented a $1.2 million check to Kenmore Mercy Hospital President & CEO James Millard.

“This generous commitment from the Foundation and the show of support from our donors made it possible for us to move forward with this important project,” said Millard. 

Major gifts were received from the Richard and Karen Penfold Family, the Habib Family, Praxair, John R. Oishei Foundation. The new Emergency Department opened to the public on July 31.
