Kenmore Mercy Hospital, a member of Catholic Health, is closing the Williamsville Primary Care and Diagnostic Center, located at 400 International Drive, as of January 31, 2013.
Patients have been notified and provided with multiple options for continuing their care with other Catholic Health physicians. This includes Invision Health, also located at 400 International Drive, and the Ken-Ton FamilyCare Center, located in Tonawanda. Sanford Pleskow, MD, who currently practices at the Williamsville Primary Care Center, will be joining Invision Health.
Any appointments scheduled at the Williamsville Primary Care Center after January 31 will need to be rescheduled with a new provider. To ensure a smooth transition of care, patients are welcome to call Invision Health at (716) 631-3555, x 318 or Ken-Ton FamilyCare at (716) 447-6450 or to schedule an appointment.
Catholic Health also offers HealthConnection, a free physician referral service available to anyone looking for a primary care physician or medical specialist. Area residents may call HealthConnection Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. at (716) 706-2112. Physician referral information is also available on the Catholic Health website.
After January 31, all medical records from the Williamsville Primary Care Center will be transferred to and stored by Invision Health. Medical record transfers may be requested with a signed consent by contacting the Williamsville Primary Care Center at (716) 447-7106 prior to January 31, 2013 or by contacting Invision Health, at (716) 631-3555 ext. 339 beginning February 1.
In December 2012, Imaging Services at the Williamsville Diagnostic Center also closed. Catholic Health will continue to operate a Laboratory Service Center at the site.
