Free Health Screenings Offered at Catholic Health's Vascular Disease & Cancer Screening Day

Catholic Health is hosting a free Vascular Disease and Cancer Screening Day on September 22 at Sisters of Charity Hospital, St. Joseph Campus in Cheektowaga.
Appointments include free screenings for carotid artery disease, abdominal aortic aneurysm, peripheral arterial disease (PAD), prostate cancer, breast cancer, and thyroid cancer.
Participants can also check their risk for cardiovascular disease and diabetes with blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose (diabetes) tests and diabetic foot exams.

Screenings are open to anyone over 50 who smokes or has one or more of the following medical conditions: high blood pressure, diabetes, heart/leg ailments, family history of heart disease or prior stroke.
