The National Osteoporosis Foundation in conjunction with Catholic Health will hold two support group meetings in April for people interested in knowing more about living with Osteoporosis.
The Southtowns Osteoporosis Support Group will meet on Tuesday, April 10, from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at Westwood/Elderwood located at 580 Orchard Park Road in West Seneca.
The guest speaker for the evening program, June Seaman-Knoerzer, RD, CDN, will discuss “Nutrition Goals for Managing Osteoporosis.”
The Northtowns Osteoporosis Support Group will meet on Wednesday, April 18 from 10 - 11:30 a.m. in the Beechwood Center Auditorium at 2235 Millersport Highway at North Forest Road.
The guest speaker for the morning program, Brian Mohr from the Domestic Violence Unit, Erie County Sheriff’s Department, will be discussing “Personal Safety.”
The support groups are free and open to all. No registration is necessary.
