January 24, 2011
Sisters of Charity Hospital, St. Joseph Campus is taking an important step in the fight against heart and lung disease by becoming a tobacco-free campus just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Sisters Hospital President & CEO, Peter U. Bergmann, will host a reception in the hospital lobby to kick things off. During the reception, he will be presented with a tree for helping to “clear the air.”
Workers will also be installing “Our Campus is Tobacco-Free” signs both inside and outside the hospital. Cookies with the “no smoking” symbol and coffee will be served.
The reception will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the hospital lobby.
