Remembrance Service at Kenmore Mercy Hospital Honors Deceased Patients and Staff
May 24, 2011
Kenmore Mercy Hospital, a member of Catholic Health, will hold a special Candlelight Remembrance Service on Wednesday, June 8 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. to remember recently deceased patients and staff.
The service will be held in the hospital’s Community Room, located at 2950 Elmwood Avenue in Kenmore.
Community members, together with families, friends, and hospital staff, are invited to attend the service in a spirit of gratitude and support to celebrate the lives and memories of their loved ones who have died at Kenmore Mercy. The service will include celebrations of life through offerings of prayer, music and messages of hope.
“The remembrance service gives our hospital family, our patients’ families, and our friends and neighbors, the opportunity to reflect on, remember and celebrate the people they have lost in their lives,” said Rev. Nancy Lindberg, a chaplain at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. “What the heart has once known it shall never forget.”
