In recognition of National Hospital Week, May 8 – 14, Kenmore Mercy Hospital, part of Catholic Health, is hosting a health fair on Tuesday, May 10 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Kenmore Mercy’s Community Room (2950 Elmwood Avenue in Tonawanda).

The Hospital Week Health Fair will include blood pressure, glucose, carbon monoxide, sleep apnea and fall prevention screenings and valuable information to help keep you healthy.

In addition to free screenings, learn about heart health, stroke, healthcare proxy forms, proper medication disposal, healthy eating, and hand hygiene. Nutritional Services will provide information on proper eating habits. Also, learn more about Kenmore Mercy’s Spiritual Care, Foundation and the McAuley Residence.

Hospitals across the nation have planned Hospital Week celebrations. Hospital Week originated in 1921, when a magazine editor suggested that more information about hospitals might alleviate public fears about the institutions of the day.

Kenmore Mercy celebrates by welcoming visitors to its health fair and by recognizing the many associates who are dedicated to pursuing excellence to enhance the patient experience.

Free parking is available.
