Mercy Hospital of Buffalo has the following activities planned to remember the 10th anniversary of 9-11:
Associates are encouraged to wear red, white & blue throughout the week.
Mercy staff and visitors are invited to write a 9-11 prayer request or reflection on Prayer Cloths, which are located outside the cafeteria dining area and at all offsite Mercy facilities.
A 9-11 Remembrance Mass will be held on Fri., September 9 at 12 p.m. in the Mercy Chapel, followed by the Blessing of a 9 -11 memorial stone and tree in the Meditation Garden. All Prayer Cloths will be presented at the Mass.
The flag at Mercy’s front entrance will be flown at half mast on Sunday, September 11 and a Mass will be held at 6:30 am in the Mercy Chapel.
