Eating healthy on a budget is not hard when you know how to shop.
Catholic Health will be sponsoring a free community education program entitled, “Supermarket Savvy: Buying Healthy Foods on a Budget” on Tuesday, October 26 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the M. Steven Piver, M.D. Center for Women’s Health & Wellness in the Seton Professional Building at Sisters of Charity Hospital, 2157 Main Street in Buffalo.
Registered dietician, Jennifer Turesky, MS, RD, CDN, CDE, will offer a variety of tips, tools and tricks to stretch your food dollars, while eating healthy and satisfying meals and snacks. This interactive program will provide you with insider strategies that will have your food budget shrinking along with your waistline.
