December 1, 2009
Physicians at Kenmore Mercy Hospital have chosen two associates to receive the hospital’s Annual Medical Staff Award, which recognizes outstanding associates for their meritorious service to patients and staff. This year’s recipients – Janet Kay, clinical advisor and Michelle Harris, RN from 2-West – were announced during a special ceremony at the hospital on November 30.
Janet Kay, a resident of Tonawanda, began her career with Kenmore Mercy in 1998 and has worked as a nurse in the orthopedic, telemetry, and critical care units. Since 2007, Kay has worked as a clinical advisor, through which she assures that the core measures are met for the hospital’s acute myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure and pneumonia patients. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Niagara University.
