Kenmore Mercy Hospital is spreading holiday cheer to patients and associates with the help of "The Lord’s Talents" from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Eggertsville, NY. The caroling group will visit patient floors, waiting rooms, and various hospital departments on Tuesday, December 16, starting at 7 p.m.

“The carolers bring the joy of the season to all that hear them. Year after year, patients and their families are so grateful,” said Lynn A. Overbeck, CAVS, Kenmore Mercy Hospital Director of Volunteer Services.

Caroling is a long running tradition at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Other seasonal traditions include a choral performance and the Christmas tree blessing and lighting.

This year, the hospital welcomes the Kenmore East Select Choir who performs on Friday, December 5 from 10 - 11 a.m. in Kenmore Mercy’s Atrium. The Christmas tree blessing and lighting takes place on Monday, December 8 at 10 a.m. in the Atrium. Both the concert and the tree ceremony are public events at which the community is welcome to attend.

“We strive to provide every patient with a pleasant hospital experience,” said Mary Hoffman, Kenmore Mercy Hospital President & CEO. “Events like these make that experience even better as these performers spread holiday cheer up and down the hospital hallways.”
