Catholic Health has selected a physician to lead the healthcare organization’s Information Technology (IT) department. Michael F. “With the many opportunities and challenges that lay before us as a healthcare system, we recognize the importance of IT in helping us achieve our overall system strategies. With that in mind, we are very pleased that Dr. Galang has agreed to become a permanent full-time member of the Catholic Health senior leadership team in his new role as CIO,” said Jim Dunlop, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
